Course Content:
- Learn about the positive attitudes a referee should have, an effective knowledge of the laws of the game , how a referee shoul prepare for a game, effective communication, refereeing the key phases of the game, management and control.
- Look at problem solving issues
- Develop a variety of positioning and communication skills.
Qualification Gained:
- RFU Entry Level Referee Award

- Minimum age of 14 years

Coaching Children Rugby Union Level 1

Course Content:
- Safely organising and supervising Rugby Union Activities
- Understanding of handling skills, tackling, contact and continuity, 5 man scrum, line-out throwing and support techniques
- Understanding of player development, good coaching practice, coaching skills, health and safety and laws of the game
- Identify and adapt rugby union activities and sessions for a variety of different age groups
Qualification Gained:
- RFU Coaching Children Rugby Union Level 1
Course Pre-Requisites:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Have previously attended a Rugby Ready course
